There are different types of living trusts. Some are revocable, some are irrevocable. But generally, if a house is held within a Living Trust, it can be sold as long as the terms set out in the trust allow the sale. The proceeds from the sale can go to the beneficiary or remain in the trust. The rules for this are usually set by the person who created the trust. We can only give general advice on this forum. I would recommend speaking to an estate planner for specific advice on the trust you have or are deciding to create.
